This summer, I was searching for suppliers. This meant ringing the doorbells of normal looking homes, being greeted by the owner, and then climbing lots of of stairs into the attic, where producers would be housing their batteries of balsamic. Once you get into the attic, it's always dark and the smell of the wooden barrels and vinegar is very strong!
